Spring2018-16.jpg

My undergraduate education and dietetic internship provided me a foundation for a career in healthcare. Throughout my career I have developed a love of learning and helping others,

We are a busy family of 4 + 2 fun-loving and happy dogs. I love to enjoy time drinking tea and reading in my kitchen. Over the last few years I have developed a love for succulent gardening and biking with my pink cruiser.

I am fortunate to enjoy living near the lake and multiple trails which supports my desire to be active and appreciate where I live.

As a Registered Dietitian, I have a deep appreciation for food and the benefits it can bring to our health and well-being, and aim to consider culture and traditions in all aspects of nutrition care (Wright et al., 2021). Cooking for those I love brings me joy, and finding a beautiful cookbook to use makes the experience even better.

I currently work as an interim Stroke Accreditation Quality Coordinator at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. Through this role I support the organization through the continuum of care from hyperacute to rehabilitation to promote high quality stroke care.
